Khecari Dance Theatre - 2008

Dance Documentation: May 23, 2008. In May I shot Khecari Dance Theatre's performance at the Around the Coyote Gallery in Chicago. This was site specific performance in which the performers (Julia Rae Antonick and Jonathan Meyer) meandered around the audience and live musicians and circumnavigated a "stairwell island" that bisected the space. Shooting with the lightweight Steadicam rig enabled me to stealthily roam around the audience and capture the performance from various vantage points in one extended, relatively smooth, take.
